The World’s Most Expensive … Heels

Like most women, I have a thing for shoes. The more unique, colorful, HIGH, sleek, and sexy the better. I noticed that the nicer the shoe, the more expensive it is … unfortunately. Lately, I’ve had my eyes on some Christian Louboutin ankle boots … maybe Santa will leave a pair for me under my tree this year (a girl can dream!). I have seen some Louboutins priced as high as $2875. If you’re wealthy (or fortunate enough to be the significant other of someone who’s wealthy), this is nothing for you. Probably think you’re “stuntin”, huh? Maybe even walk with attitude in your step? Well, honey … the world’s most expensive heels puts your kicks to shame …

These are by Stuart Weitzman and were designed after a pair of earrings owned by movie legend Rita Hayworth. The earrings are laden with rubies, sapphires and diamonds. For the 2006 Academy Awards, musician and Oscar-nominee Kathleen “Bird” York was tapped to wear Stuart Weitzman’s latest over-the-top creations. The price tag on these babies? $3,000,000.

Now I would be lying if I said these were the most expensive shoes in the world. There is another pair made by Ronald Winston, an accessory designer, and crafted by artisan Javiar Barerra but they are nearly entirely made of rubies (four thousand six hundred 1,350 carat rubies to be exact). They look like slippers covered in red rubies. Also worth $3,000,000.

Classy Loves Makeup – The Classic Smokey Eye

So I’ve been asked by some female fans and models about my makeup skills. I started wearing makeup in the sixth grade (powder and lipstick) and have been practicing since. Since I am also the makeup artist for VXN Studios, I’ve been able to refine my skill in a short period of time. Below is a tutorial I made by request for a smokey eye. This one is very basic so I titled it “The Classic Smokey” eye.

After the video I remembered the lightest eyeshadow was Rice Paper by Mac and Shroom was the second color I used. I hope you enjoy. If you would like to see another makeup tutorial, email me your idea.

Classy’s Celebrity Crush #3: Rihanna

 rihanna

What’s not to like about Rihanna? She’s a talented young, sexy, fashionista whose grown beautifully into her own since her debut. In my opinion, the most admirable thing about her is her style. She’s definitely has a style all her own and if you look around, she’s the most consistent of female recording artists.

I googled pictures of her and other female celebs for outfit ideas one day and was disappointed to find that she was probably the only one with a defined style. Glamorous. Edgy. Sexy. I also love the fact that she isn’t afraid to rock a short hairstyle. She shows that a woman doesn’t have to have hair to her butt (weave or not) to be sexy. Finally!

In a recent interview with Glamour, she discussed the incident with Chris Brown (again) as well as her upcoming album, Rated R.  In response to Glamour Magazine’s question regarding her album, she says:

I was involved in a lot of the writing. I put everything I’ve wanted to say for the past eight months into my music. The songs are really personal. It’s rock ‘n’ roll, but it’s really hip-hop: If Lil’ Wayne and Kings of Leon like my album, then I’ll feel good. I would not change anything about it. Even if people don’t love it, I made exactly the piece of art that I wanted to make. It’s super fearless—which is exactly how I feel right now. I am in a really good place.

Good for you, RiRi. Look forward to seeing more of you.
